Ellen Macphee Obituary – Passed Away! It is with crushing sadness we report the passing of our dear Monica MacPhee (nee Stark) from the beginning
Thursday November 19, 2020 at Hospice Halifax.
Monica was brought into the world in Halifax and raised with her 4 siblings, and invested a great deal of energy with her grandparents, aunties, uncles and numerous cousins. Her early stages were in Nova Scotia and she went to Mount Saint Vincent University in the Medical Secretary program. She burned through 5 a long time in Toronto working for an oncologist at Toronto General Hospital.
It was in Toronto where her first child Jason was conceived. In the wake of getting back to Nova Scotia she brought forth her subsequent child Scratch. They were the focal point of her life, her establishment and she gave them the best life she could as a solitary parent. Her affection was more than responded by her ‘Young men’. Monica worked in the Clinical Records division at The Victoria General Hospital for very nearly 30 years and resigned two years prior.
Monica was extremely laid back and she partook in her time watching football – the Green Bay Packers, hockey – the Toronto Maple Leafs, and baseball – the Toronto Blue Jays, and obviously spending time with her children and her more distant family and companions. Monica had the option to make a fourteen day excursion to Ontario the previous tumble to visit two siblings and a sister-in-law.
Monica was predeceased by her ex Steve, father Carl, sibling Sydney and step father Murray. She is made due by her two children; Jason and Nick (Samantha), mother Joan Decker, siblings; (Michael), Kevin (Liz), sister-in-law Cathy and Carl (Vass), granddaughter Maggie, nieces; Sasha, Carleigh, Casey, Cassidy and extraordinary nephews; Wade and Jacob and extraordinary niece Leah and numerous cousins In Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Alberta and her long time companion Wendy.
