Susan Schmid Bronx Zoo Death – Brought into the world on October 28, 1925 in Manhattan, Frederick was the child of William and Lina (Conradt) Schmid. Frederick met his first love, Anneliese Metzger in Germany in 1943. On November 28, 1948 in Manhattan, Frederick wedded Anneliese who predeceased him on March 4, 2019.
Frederick gladly served our country in the United States Army during World War II. He filled in as a Draftsman for F.W. Woolworth in Manhattan for more than 30 years until his retirement in 1989. He was an individual from St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Bronx where he was on the Church Council and was an individual from the Hopewell Reformed Church. He was exceptionally associated with the Boy Scouts and an individual from the American Legion. Frederick was dynamic with the East Fishkill Senior Citizens and East Fishkill Choir.
Frederick is made due by his youngsters and their companions, Peter and Annette Schmid of the Bronx, Steven and Susan Schmid of Holmes, and Susan and Nelson Nieves of Hopewell Junction; his grandkids, Eric and Maria, Jason and Tori, Stefanie and George, Jeremy and Allison, Jesse and Jessica, Jennifer and Matt, David and Kaitlyn, Joshua and Sarah, and Laura and Richard; and his 11 extraordinary grandkids.
