Judge Michelle Odinet Instagram – 59-year old Ronald Handy has been captured and accused of two counts of basic theft, police said. He is right now in the Lafayette Parish Jail on a $10,000 bond.
Lafayette Police Sgt. Paul Mouton affirmed with News 10 that no weapon was found on Ronald Handy’s individual at the hour of his capture, notwithstanding Judge Michelle Odinet’s cases that her family was engaged with an “outfitted theft.”
Following the episode, a cellphone video of a safety film from Odinet’s home has been posted on a few online media locales. A few groups in the video are heard hollering bigoted slurs during playback of the occurrence.
In a reaction to those allegations, Odinet said: “I was given a narcotic at the hour of the video. I have no memory of the video and the upsetting language utilized during it.” Odinet said.
