Avant Family Death – Jacqueline Avant, the spouse of music leader Clarence Avant, was shot to no end Wednesday in an obvious home attack in Beverly Hills.
Beverly Hills police say a taking shot at the 1100 square of Mayor Place was brought in at 2:23 a.m. Wednesday. At the point when officials showed up, they observed a lady with gunfire twisted, and there were no suspects at the scene.
The lady was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, however, didn’t get by. At an evening news gathering, Beverly Hills police Chief Mark Stainbrook affirmed the lady killed was 81-year-old Jacqueline Avant.

Avant was the spouse of 90-year-old music chief Clarence Avant and mother by the marriage of Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos. Clarence Avant, who was not harmed in the shooting, is known as the “Back up parent of Black Music” who worked with any semblance of Louis Armstrong, the SOS Band, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, and Babyface.
Clarence Avant and a safety officer were available at the hour of the shooting, however, they were not doing any harm, Stainbrook said. Stainbrook said he was approached to thank everybody for their messages of help and sympathies for the Avant family.
“Jacqueline was a stunning lady, spouse, mother, humanitarian, and a 55-year inhabitant of Beverly Hills who has made an inconceivable, positive commitment and effect on artistic expressions local area. She will be remembered fondly by her family, companions, and every one individual she has helped all through her stunning life,” Stainbrook read from the Avant family’s assertion.
The Avants were hitched for a considerable length of time. Danny Bakewell Sr., who is the proprietor of the Black paper the Los Angeles Sentinel, says he is a deep-rooted companion of the Avant family and was “predominantly tormented” at the deficiency of such a delightful individual.
