Bill Duff Obituary – William T. “Charge” Duff, 62, of Kiski Township, died startlingly Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021, in AHN-Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. Conceived March 4, 1959, in Pittsburgh, he was a child of the late Boyd Duff and Katherine Alice (Askins) Duff. Bill was a 1977 alumni of Apollo-Ridge High School, and 1990 alumni of IUP. He got a confirmation in 1990 from the Eastman School of Music.
Bill functioned as a music educator for Apollo-Ridge High School from 1991-2018 and proceeded with his profession similarly situated at The Kiski Prep School starting around 2020. Bill was additionally a music educator at Murphy’s Music Center for a long time. He was an individual from Unity Community Church in Plum and played in the Praise Band. Bill was a gifted guitar player and gatherer of guitars and was very much viewed as a guitar luthier.
He was notable locally with his band, “Visually challenged Willie.” Bill adored going to shows and investing energy with his significant other, kids, and his canine, Zoey. Bill is made due by his caring spouse of 34 years, Michele M. (Hixson) Duff; child, Captain William B. (Sarah) Duff, of Tucson, Ariz.; little girl, Katie D. Duff, of Indiana, Pa.; sister, Debbie Bower, of Albuquerque, N.M.; sibling, James McDuff, of Honolulu, Hawaii; and a few nieces and nephews
