Dan Brainard Obituary – Passed Away! Police recognized Daniel Brainard, 53, of Rockford, as the survivor of a cruiser crash on Thursday, Sept. 29. He passed on at the location of the 5 p.m. crash on Carson City Road and West County Line Road in Montcalm County’s Eureka Township, sheriff’s delegates said.
Brainard was riding a 1996 Honda VT1100 bike west on Carson City Road when a vehicle maneuvered into his way, police said. The driver of a 2015 Chevrolet Traverse, pointing toward the south, had halted at Carson City Road prior to endeavoring a left turn, police said.
The motorcyclist attempted to stop however collided with the Traverse, police said.
The driver of the Traverse, a 29-year-old Greenvile lady, and her traveler, a 8-year-old young lady, were not do any harm, police said.
The accident, which shut the crossing point for more than three hours, stays being scrutinized, police said. Various organizations helped at the scene.
