Haldia Refinery Fire Accident – Three individuals kicked the bucket and more than 40 were harmed later a huge fire broke out in the premises of the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) treatment facility in Haldia, West Bengal, PTI detailed.
The fire has been stifled and the circumstance is taken care of, the IOC said in an assertion.
“Three individuals kicked the bucket, more than 30 people were harmed in a fire occurrence at IOCL processing plant in Haldia. The harmed have been moved to Kolkata,” ANI cited SK Ajgar Ali, Chairman-In-Council, Haldia Municipality, as saying.
The IOC said that the episode happened at a unit of the processing plant during closure-related works.
“The essential driver is by all accounts a blazing fire prompting consume wounds to 44 people and three people have tragically surrendered to their wounds,” the assertion said.
Out of the 44 harmed, 37 have been moved to an emergency clinic in Kolkata, a senior cop of the Purba Medinipur area told PTI. The state of seven of them is basic, he said.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee mourned the passings and said the public authority would stretch out all help to those harmed.
