Jackie Robinson Accident – On Friday, Dec. 17 not long before 10 p.m., police were called to the location of an accident on the westward side of Jackie Robinson Parkway.
The accident occurred between Forest Park Drive and Metropolitan Avenue when a 2013 silver Infiniti G37X car “neglected to appropriately explore the street” and struck a tree.
The driver, a 26-year-elderly person, was taken to a medical clinic and was articulated dead, police said. No different vehicles were engaged in the accident.
The accident is being scrutinized by the NYPD’s Highway Patrol Collision Investigation Squad.
