Nick Risner Obituary – Passed Away! James Nicholas “Scratch” Risner, age 40, of Florence, Alabama, died October 2, 2021, at Huntsville Hospital. Appearance will be Friday October eighth, 2021 at Faith Church, 3601 Florence Blvd., Florence, Alabama, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Administration will follow with Pastor Eric Taylor administering. A private graveside will be held for family and individual officials. The assistance will be streamed live on Faith Church Facebook page, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Scratch was gone before in death by his grandparents, James and June McDonald; siblings, Anthony Ray and Terrell.
He is made due by his folks, Carl and Vicki Risner; grandparents, Harold and Jeanette Wesson; spouse, Brandy Risner; girl, Aili Risner; siblings, Billy Risner (Kristy), Tony Risner (Whitney); nieces and nephews who revered “Uncle Nick”; various aunties, uncles, and cousins; and his closest companion, and steadfast accomplice “K9 WISKE”.
Scratch was brought up in Florence, AL, where he went to Central High School. Scratch wedded Brandy, his better half of 15 years, and they have one little girl, Aili, who is a genuine daddy’s young lady and was the best part of him. Scratch served eight years in the Army/National Guard and afterward turned into an official with Sheffield PD in 2012 and was presently a K9 sergeant. Scratch was a social butterfly with a worker’s heart continually helping other people in any capacity. His irresistible giggle and character could illuminate a room.
