Norm Mcdonald Cause of death: Norm Macdonald, the joke artist and previous “Saturday Night Live” star, has passed on from malignancy, his director affirmed to CBS News on Tuesday. He was 61.
Macdonald started his profession in TV as an author on “Rosanne” and the “Dennis Miller Show” in 1992. The next year, he turned into a cast part at “Saturday Night Live,” a job that would characterize his profession.
