Kim Putter Video – Kim played the last four openings of his second round at the Masters without his putter after breaking it on the fourteenth green: The 25-year-old had to utilize his 3-wood to putt and parred the last four openings to remain at four-under for the competition, three shots behind pioneer Justin Rose.
Kim and his putter had not been getting along on the back nine. He had birdie chances from 18 feet, 20 feet, and 18 feet on the tenth, eleventh and twelfth openings, separately, yet none of the putts came in.
He then, at that point, wound up with a hawk taking a stab at the thirteenth from 11 feet away yet couldn’t change over. On the fourteenth opening, Kim’s level stick disappointments bubbled over.
Kim didn’t passage any better (or more regrettable) with the 3-wood on the last four openings. He had birdie chances from 19 feet, 13 feet (twice), and 29 feet yet needed to tidy up for standard each time.
Notwithstanding the putter hardships, Kim is in the green coat blend because of his electrifying tee-to-green game, which reliably gives him respectable birdie looks. Assuming his new putter coordinates this end of the week, we could see the 2017 Players Championship victor take action.
